                 Sea Beads

The idea behind Sea Beads came about on a visit to Tanzania in 2014, whilst working as a volunteer on a sanitation project with Raleigh International-a sustainable development charity. The land was mainly made up of semi-arid desert, and initally I wanted to incoprate the use of sand into something creative,  which I could then sell to raise money for the charity I went with.

A year later, I have sold the items made from Tanzanian sand and have since moved to Dublin. This is where Sea Beads was born. I'm still using the same technique to sell handmade sand beads, collected from different beaches around this beautiful part of Ireland.

When you wear a Sea Bead item, you will be carrying around with you a part of Ireland in a piece of original hand crafted jewellery.

In keeping with the original idea behind Sea Beads, 10% of the profits from each piece will be donated back to Raleigh International, to help with the vital work they do with communties in Tanzania and other countries.
