This elegant necklace is made partly with sand collected from Howth Beach, Dublin.
The rest of the beads are used to complement the sand bead and represent the natural surroundings of Howth.
Crazy lace agate (also known as the laughter stone) is a semi precious stone, used to represent the rocky harbour. Meanwhile, the splashes of different shades of blue around the necklace evokes the sense of a transition from the calm waters of the shore, to the darker depths of the sea.
