These pretty earrings are made partly with sand collected from Portmarnock Beach, Dublin.
The rest of the beads are used to complement the sand bead and represent the natural surroundings of Portmarnock.
Sodalite (also known as the poet's stone) is a gemstone used to represent the breaking of the waves at the surface.
Yellow and green beads are used to depict how the strip of beach (known as the velvet strand) runs adjacent to the grassy dunes.
Preciosa Czech pressed glass beads are included in every Sea Bead piece to capture the shifting colours of water.
Earring drop length approx 55 mm.
Presented in a Sea Bead gift box.
